Abstract

This paper explores modern communication technologies, focusing on the evolution of cellular networks
from 1G to 5G, comparing their architectures and advancements. Broadband solutions, including DSL and
fiber-optic FTTH, are examined alongside cloud computing models public, private, hybrid, and
community and service models like SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, and FaaS. Security challenges across these
technologies, including cellular, broadband, and cloud systems, are analyzed with proposed
countermeasures. The study highlights the importance of innovation and robust security to ensure the
reliability of these interconnected systems.
